Coach Mike Barton's Summer Basketball Camp 2011!!

 

Mike Barton is the head coach for the 4th grade Renegades AAU basketball team sponsored by Nothing But Hoops. Coach Barton has been working with young players on the Peninsula for the past five years, including the past two years at NBH, where his league teams have compiled an overall record of 56 wins against only 9 losses. He understands how to develop the young player, stresses fundamentals and giving maximum effort on the basketball court.

Mike has been involved in basketball for over 25 years as a player, referee, player development coach and coach. He has worked with several local players who have gone on to play college basketball. Mike had the privilege of playing under Head Coach Mike Legarza while at Canada Junior College, where his teams were ranked in Northern California and the State. Mike returned to Canada as an assistant coach and helped produce several Division I, II and III level players.

During this week long camp, Coach Barton will lay the foundation for proper fundamentals and improve the skill set your child already has. The camp will be broken into skill level and each player is sure to be challenged during the week. This camp will emphasize footwork, dribbling, shooting and overall knowledge of the game. Each camper will get to test their skills in daily scrimmages and contests to help ignite their competitive drive and build self esteem.

Cost: $150 Daily Drop In Rate: $40 per day Time: 8:00am-12:00pm
